We come to you, but we have officially opened our NEW Donor Center at 9920 S. Western Ave.!

The Community Blood Center is committed to supporting our Chicago communities. Since 1955, we’ve worked with local leaders and community organizations to respond to the unique needs of the communities we serve.

We’re now taking our mission to Chicago. While we’ve got a lot to learn and many people to meet, we have some great partners and are excited to get moving and make a positive impact.

We are deeply involved in issues of public health. Sickle cell disease. Cancer care. Organ transplants. Burn victims. Trauma patients. Chronic disease.

We’re actively engaging hospitals, schools, churches, community organizations and governments across Chicago to find new ways to make a difference in the well-being of everyone.
