The Community Blood Center (CBC) is excited to announce the appointment of Heidi Dusek as Executive Director for the Appleton-area operations. With extensive experience in community engagement and nonprofit leadership, Heidi is positioned to bring a new wave of innovation and growth to the organization.

Heidi joins CBC after serving as the Executive Director of the J.J. Her previous roles also include Community Engagement Manager at the Community Foundation Fox Valley, where she was instrumental in fostering strong connections within the community.

Heidi holds a Master’s in Educational Technology and a BA in Education with a Minor in Health. Her dedication to community service is further demonstrated by her active involvement on the boards of Children’s Wisconsin and the YMCA Fox Cities.

“We are very excited to have Heidi join our team,” said John Hagins, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Her expertise in community engagement and her passion for making a difference will be invaluable as we work to expand our donor base across northeast Wisconsin.”

Heidi’s leadership will be crucial as CBC continues its mission to provide life-saving blood products to hospitals and patients in need. Her focus on building strong community ties and her strategic approach to operations will help drive the growth and sustainability of CBC’s donor programs.

“I am honored to join The Community Blood Center and look forward to working alongside such a dedicated team,” said Heidi Dusek. “Together, we will continue to grow our impact and ensure that our communities have the blood resources they need.”

CBC is proud to welcome Heidi Dusek to the team.
